We have a long-term cooperation with the Research and Development Center for Set Net Fishery Technology of National Kaohsiung Marine University. Through the application of precision instruments, we carry out investigations on the topography of sea bottom, tides, water depth, water quality and bottom materials of the proposed installation site of set net. We also collect and analyze climatic data, wind and wave data, etc and explore the species and quantities of migratory fishes.

Through the analysis of climatic data, wind and wave data, topography of sea bottom, currents, water depth, water quality and bottom materials collected during the investigation, we can explore the appropriate sites for a fishing ground and their ranges, shapes and depths. We can also tell what problems that the fishing ground might run into and their improvement methods, etc based on our experiences. Furthermore, we provide consultation and assistance to the application of relevant licenses; we also provide feasibility advice on the installation of bottom set net.

Based on the results of scientific diagnosis, we can design the appropriate size, shape and strength of the set net; we also provide suggestions on operation and assessments on facilities renovation.
